ringing some thoughts.

"Treat your friend as if he might become an enemy."

i hope my friends don't misjudge me; and if they do, what they could at least do (after that) is talk to me and tell me whatever they feel abt me. so if things are going this way, things will be a lot more easier. but surely you can't expect people to always judge the the way you wanted it rite? herm, friends in need - i treasure this most. quoting from liyana fuad's page, haha: enemies always tell the truth, friends lie endlessly. some words here and there, but you get the meaning. heheh, the true facts of life.

friends who criticises and at the same time, giving advices and moral support are what i like the most; friends who keep stabbing me from the back and doing practically nothing - is, i don't know what - can we even qualify this in the 'friends' category?

it's just that, as i'm ending this special 11 years of schooling - colorful years which many people cherish the most - i want to be surrounded by truthful friends, who care for each other and have respect in each and everyone of them. who doesn't look down on me if i face failure. who doesn't bear hatred towards me if i achieve success. friends who cure, basically.

i found some of this and i found some of that. people act and people react. day by day, things change. right or wrong are always subjective. paths cross, people meet and people leave.

just hoping that i make a good friend. i apologise if i make mistakes, simply, because i'm just another human who errs. :)

ngee, i'm so reflective! ho yeah, QUIZ anyone? click here!

the link between spm, onde-onde and batu seremban.

Heh I know this is going to be another pointless entry, but who cares? haha. Hm ok, like firstly, I want to be extremely thankful for the A's, whether they're just by luck, atas pagar or just by pure hardwork - i can't really tell. what i know is, all of them make a very good cover up for the isolated 3 subjects. VERY horrible! hergh guess which ones are they. haha but i just want to leave the results to myself lah, basically i've detected what's lacking and what's wrong (which is banyak). insya allah things will go better for the next one and a half month. erk,

ONE AND A HALF MONTH??

damn it. i thought i've written 'six more months' or 'next year' not long before. now i'm typing 'one and a half month' painlessly and calmly. oh how a pessimist i am.

Blabla spm aside, so yesterday I did kuih hunting with who else but my beloved supir (kidding), AB! haha. ab brought me to this stall at section 6. he claims the onde-onde made by the pakcik there as 'paling sedap' (can't recall his quote). so i bought one, well..what do you call it..hm..satu plastik ah. RM 1 per packet. then i dragged him to my favourite tepung pelita spot, just near my house at the section 9 bazaar. i really like the tepung pelita there because that abang (or his alliances) make the kuih just rightly and innocently sweet. my favourite for literally breaking my fast. i'm not a big fan of kurma, you know.

so the onde-onde was shiok! really mouth-watering. and idk abt ab, but he said his mother liked the tepung pelita. ;p

then, liyana zakaria brought her batu seremban accidentally to school (konon) today. not missing the chance, i decided to have it a try ar kan. God, my hands are terribly keras! i practiced and practiced and practiced, and it takes five (or more, including melvin) people to shape my bloody wrists and fingers to master the wicked science of playing the batu seremban smoothly! wargh! oh forgive the kampung guy and don't laugh, haha. currently proceeding to the next stage with my sifus (notice the plural noun there). kehkeh

See, the entry is pointless! maybe some plans for tomorrow, a buka puasa event maybe, a Raya bargain-hunting (thanks to mom) maybe, tuition (confirm) and, hurm. maybe another comfy Saturday. :D

Good Luck for PMR ladies and gentlemen! all the best to friends in form three; syikin, zaki, kai, sya, aiman, izzul, inani, farihin sume² :)

the lost of an afro.

Ok ok this post is totally dedicated to edzmir. more specifically, edzmir's hair. but we'll wait for a sec.

So i skipped school today, and the idea was penetratingly brilliant as, according to reliable sources, they had this not so entertaining (read: boring) event at the dewan before rehat, and after that, the classes were so-so. so basically, it's better not to come to school. but they got kimia paper 1 and bm paper 2 today. herm, so i'll go pick 'em up tomorrow. i'm so hoping my bm would be 80 above! damn it, the highest is liyana z with 88, raimi is 87, tikah is like 86. now i can really wonder how much is mine. man bm is hard! pressure - you can say that again!

marks is one thing. another - well, they (more exactly ustaz) cut off ppl's hair, long ones of course, during the perhimpunan! and something terrible happened - edzmir's precious hair is cut off! worse, only half of the hair on his head is cut (hope you understand this - im not good at explaining). haha, over wey. sigh, wonder what he looks like right now. rambut mahal wo. but nvm, i think he can save it - again. his hair seems fast in growing. heheh

lily and i staring at edzmir's hair in awe, haha. captured last merdeka.

speaking of merdeka, haziq helped in capturing fireworks in the skies of shah alam on the eve of merdeka. frankly speaking, we kind of succeeded in capturing some of the photos. ah thanks to the honorary tripod, and, what else - nikon d50. and this one's the best:

from dira's area.

well, everything's merry for today. delicious food waiting for berbuka, haha. so have happy moments breaking the fast for today. see ya! +)

Update @ Wednesday, Sept 27 4:03 PM
as of today morning, edzmir is still having his hair unrepaired! having two days of school off, i'm very lucky to see the situation of his hair -- and my -- it's tak boleh blah!! pergh. terbaek seyh. tak leh terime doh lawak camni. klaka tak klaka ah! mmg the best bende tak leh bla ever sey. God! he's having his hair repaired by this evening anyway, so..yeah. :p

the singing boys

AB called me up on a Sunday morning just to ask me whether i'd like to watch this movie or not. He insisted, saying that i will, for sure, love the movie. maybe, he turned out right.

It's a 2004 French movie directed by Christophe Barratier. The movie was said (in IMDb) to win many awards and recognitions all around the world. Suprisingly, our neighbour Singapore screened the movie. and as you've guessed it, we don't. Les Choristes, literrally Chorists or the Choir, is kind of dramatic, and as the name suggests, it's full with music - we're talking the beautiful ones.

Set in the post-war France, a once music composer is sent to be a prefect in a boys' boarding school. Unknown to him was the boys are egregiously naughty. The principal basically had done nothing right to control the situation, leading to severe punishments towards to boys, at many times cruel and unfair. Seeing this, the new prefect, Clement Mathieu (Gerard Jugnot) tried to reach the boys and helped to change the style of teaching them at the school (being Action, Reaction at the time) by teaching them music and in the end, established a very well conducted choir group.

The movie mixed all feelings, really. Emotions are stirred and blended well, especially of the boys'. Dramatic as it sounds, Les Choristes is captivating enough to keep me from taking a shower. At the ending i felt really touched doh! (and smelly). The boys' lifes, particularly Morange, the angel-faced who was initially problematic, but discovered to has a very beautiful voice; Pepinot, the littlest of them all, Boniface...and others (x igt) could drive u nuts, maybe disgusted, maybe laughter, maybe tears or maybe just a sole tone of reflection of ourselves.

With many plots alluring and many of the characters spellbinding, the movie should be a must-see. Next in line, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain (The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain), starring Audrey Tautou, Tom Hanks' co-star in the Da Vinci Code. bad news is, no subtitles! damn it!

A clean 4 over 5 for the movie.

Top soundtracks; La Nuit, Vois sur ton chemin, Les Choristes.

warm wishes of ramadan

a blessed month arrives,
happiness is abundant,

feelings of pleasance.

mercy to believers,

great joy to those who adhere,

sealing all evil.

so sacred this month,

Almighty's words descend,
bringing peace to man.

and Ramadan stops,

and the next time it will go,

with it's promises.

the sun is setting,
stars shine and twinkle brightly,

with the first crescent.

hums of peace is heard,
warm wishes fill the sky,

Ramadan, said hi.

as the holy month greets us this sunset, let us pray together for the world to be more peaceful and a happy place, and may we celebrate the month with humility, thankfulness and a cherished joy. guys, have a blessed Ramadan Al-Mubarak. have a meaningful one this year. :)

brengset!

Update
man, photobucket is so freaking slow. so is the internet. bloody streamyx charged us for nothing. sigh.

there're many things gone and going for the last one month, obviously. the most prominent (not to say exciting) one is the trials, of course. isaac newton, if he's alive, would die in ultimately-horrible shock if he reads my physics paper. sheesh. we have to reseat for the physics paper because the soalan was excessively bocor! somebody got the actual exam papers, brings them to school, spread it to nearly everyone. and everybody was like started to memorise all the answers rather blindly. yeah including paper 1. well i'm not insane enough lah kan wanting to memorise the 'dabb, cddc, dbac' (randomly hehe). so we finished our trials yesterday. i'm rather anxious about the marks sey. shiyte.

today we had this pentauliahan unit beruniform ceremony together with all those co-curricular awards ceremony. i'm too lazy to remember what the heck is pentauliahan in english. i purposely didn't bring my camera, bcs i want the event to be off the record. sheesh the whole event is like the lousiest awards ceremony ever wei. w/ the protocols and all, i marched like a lousy bumpy camel on the stage (i think). and it feels gooood to depend on other people's camera to take pictures. (pic: w/ syafiq b and faris - thanks to dira's camera!) i actually felt light. so after rehat, we were bored - i was bored. so i joined lala and liyana z to go back home. at 11 am. ngehngeh.

after friday prayers, went to mcd w/ tqa. her terrifying driving seemed unerasable. haha. when i got back home at 4.00pm, gone online for minutes..and then..well, tetido! until 6pm! haha ceramah smyg hajat starts at 5.30pm! hadoi. luckily mcm ramai jugak org yg mcm x pegi lg and when i arrived, i saw gazi, liyana s, and well with that unmistakable afro hair, edzmir not far away from the school gate. wee wiitt. hergh ok cut the story short. well we had the smyg hajat, of course. agak tersentuh jugak la sbnrnye. i rllllyyy want to have the strength to work harder, not only for the sake of the straight a's but also for other points of life. but more exclusively for spm lah kan. so after prayers we ate...a lot. ngeh it was fun. hangout kt skolah mlm² mmg syok. eating while facing the glittery skies of shah alam..well..is romantic haha! the mosque's dome is illuminated..as usual. only today the dome was extra illuminated. well, Ramadan is around the corner aite?

so the holy month is arriving at our doorsteps again, offering blessings, mercy and every single chance to grab the clad tidings and good promises of heaven. hehe. every Ramadan, for me, has its own story. always the sweetest month of the year.

(out of ideas)

aaaaaakk

ho yeah! what's the hottest on the tv? no, its not epl, oiam, or other possible acronyms you'd guess. it's bawang merah bawang putih HAHAHA! serious do, everybody is at least started to watch it.

haha. ok brb +)
(currently waiting for smyg hajat's pics from edzmir)

August 22, 2006

one after another,

haziq's little brother, nabil, was trying to attract our attention by showing off a 6-in-one ballgame he got as a birthday present from his uncle at his birthday party last saturday.

being fakefully compassionate, i tried to layan him a bit because haziq is one of the most ignorant brothers in the world.

but anyway i asked haziq,

"ko bg nabil hadiah ape ah mase bday die?"
"takde pape"
"takde pape? gile kejam"
"ade, aku bagi ciuman panas."

-_-"

speaking of kissing,

we accidentally (well..) watched siti's akad nikah ceremony this morning. haziq's sister aqilah was watching (clearly she was bored), but left the tv before the akad nikah thing started. i'm not quite sure what's her motive by doing that. so where was i, er, accidentally, right?

so there was us, haziq, qayum, nabil and i, watching datuk k's lovely moustache touches siti's soft forehead as he kisses her awkwardly (in the forehead, of course, what..a french kiss in the national tv?!). then we watched wanita hari ini bcs we desperately were out of other things to do (kind of.) but people, relax, at least she's not marrying some bongkok tua guy you know. well... haha. slmt pengantin baru lah.
