pinches of a salty life.

first pinch,
the best thing to do when you're bored (although these days we're supposed to have zero 'bored times') is to browse through old pictures (not literally old, but you know what i mean) be it printed or stored in anywhere...pc..ipod..camera..blabla. and you'll ALWAYS be amazed of the things you can find out in them. i always do it when i'm stressed and all. it's good to know that you actually did had plenty of good times anyway.

i repeat, ALWAYS.

second pinch,
my birthday in roman numerals is X X MCMLXXXIX.
X is 10, M=1000. C=100. L=50.

M = 1000,
CM = 1000-100
= 900 (as in IX, 10-1 = 9)
L = 50,
XXX = 10+10+10
= 30.
IX = 10-1
= 9,

therefore 1000+900+50+30+9, well, duh, is 1989.

so, 10/10/1989. (hint2)

last pinch,
i'll put up some of the pics. til then have a very good night & happy studying!
//good luck for those having trials in august.

black 23rd.

i didn't expect the 204th day of this year should turn out to be this way. i mean, technically i started it frustatingly, knowing the shucks and all, and then read some good detective conan and fell asleep at somewhere 3. woke up at 5, 7, 7.30, and finally 8 am.

i went to breakfast emotionlessly, swaying all the way to d.e making a somber face that if somebody i knew met me that time they would throw a very weird face at me. i arrived first, grabbing the star if there's anything written about the thing. then atikah came, and 15 minutes (or more) aidil came. we tried to forget what had happened and tried to laugh as usual, though eventually we did, but still the tormented fate is unbearable (at least for me).

then we went to cili merah, i met up with ab to collect the photos during ilah's party. yeah happy times, the times where i don't even think that it'll all end up like this, all crappy stupid & unnecessary. then borak abt the thing, sigh. basically i just throw it all out abt how i hated thing and know, hate it like hell. knowing that there's nearly nothing that i can do makes i hate it even more. then we went for a stroll around 9, and ab sent me home. tried to contact meme but he was back in the kampung. saw mum outside, sigh, maybe i should tell mom.

so i went out there, sat on the garden's terrace's dividers and looked at her as if pointlessly. she was doing her gardening and chores, as always. told her i got thing, and she just replied in one breath, pegi jela as if joining thing is so bloody easy. everything looked easy you know, when you're not in my place. i haven't told ayah yet, i'm waiting for him to get back from melbourne. as if he can do anything. only miracle permits, i guess.

posted something at my blog. suddenly it was zuhur, then alang came. i really can't concentrate, thinking about the burdens and all, i was so shrouded with severe dumbness. totally not overreacting, if you think so. then i got online, saw many people online. then hanila greeted me, saying qayum's guitar yesterday was good. she meant it, i guess. everybody should know qayum played good guitar. well she told me she didn't got thing, then i said congrats as sincerely as i could. one lucky girl, that one. then i told her i got it. as always, people told me to relax. fine then.

then greeted chakra, always good to chat with. after a long while of exchanging opinions he mentioned about nabila (nabel). i suddenly thought of calling her. so i called, all the way down to malacca. after a moment of dire straits' ringtone, nabila picked up. well, everybody knew nabila got thing last yr right. at least i felt normal, after knowing that she was at first pissed off too. angry, depression. one by one the checklist is completed. and i somewhat felt better. for a long time we chatted, well, exchanging opinions, how unsatisfied we are (were), and things. well at least she said the letter didn't came yet. i hope it won't.

exchanged good lucks. i loved her so much, as a friend of course. thank you so much.

hung up. sending nabila's regards to chakra. namie was online. ab was online too. but i merely did nothing, just exchanging words. finding that chakra is free, we decided to have tea together at, again, d.e. talked again, i liked his story about how 5sc1 suprised puan hafizah during graduation last year. the story is too sweet. we continued chatting at our house, with a cat (which i found out belongs to aiman's) mingling at our feet. then he got home.

then i got in. mom. folding clothes. always a good time for a borak session. but i didn't. utterless. feeling all bangang. then i remembered dira. called her. asked for other ic numbers. typed some ic numbers.

no k/p anda tidak dijumpai.
no k/p anda tidak dijumpai.
no k/p anda tidak dijumpai.
no k/p anda..

i just envy them.

ordered pizza. hm.

it's not sadness. it's anger. i know it. it's a feeling of unsatisfactory. maybe betrayal. feeling of unluckiness and all things unlucky. no, maybe it is sad. but deep downwards, it's anger. maybe it's anger mixed with sadness. and hatred, and depression. and other syllables i don't know.

as i recalled chakra's beautiful stories, i felt empty. as i recalled typing a good luck for trials to aidil during the last time he onlined on 4 pm before he went of to gombak, i felt nothing. i felt nothing when i told about how unscary was the overrated pameran hantu over to alang and chakra. oh yeah, maybe it's just emptiness. i don't know.

hell yes, i'm emo.
it's all fcukingly unfair thanks.

oh, God.

saddest bloodiest thing;

I've never ever been so fucking frustated like this before. maybe some of you out there will accept this willingly and naively, but sadly i don't. if the shit was organised freely and it is a fair play, then maybe i'll accept. but what pisses me off largely is, it is not. i don't know why, and how, and what the hell is happening in our country. merely, i feel discriminated, degraded and obviously fucking disappointed, agay. and if a happy-go-lucky carefree boy is turning to a foul mouthed bastard, then the shit that i'm talking abt must be something utterlessly serious.

first thing first, all the kokurikulum thing, is 100% bullshit. do not go participate in co-curricular activities, just get your nearest link to org dalam, and you'll be safe and sound. because that's how things work in malaysia. am i right or i'm just plain wrong?

let us see the freaking thing's objectives,

to:
  • Develop a young generation who are patriotic and with love for their country
  • Enhance unity among the multi-racial communities in the country
  • Instill a spirit of caring and volunteerism among society
  • Produce an active, intelligent and confident generation
  • Develop positive characteristics among the younger generation through good values
First question. what the hell is the use of the malaysian educational system? what are we doing in school for ten bloody years? to get those filthy straight A's and being ignorant to others? oh, sorry, we don't have to get the bloody straight A's. ah, because we're pampered Malays! riiiiight, so i'm not going to debate on the Article 153 of the Constitution. sorry.

I'm just confused, the millions of ringgits used to provide M-16 for the children, the disastrous blue uniforms, secluded ulu camps and all...should be used to improve the educational system instead. Anyway, if the shit worked, only 85 000 of 450 000 people je will be tolerant towards each others pun. What are the teachers doing? Aren't they supposed to build positive characters? What are our parents doing? What the hell is the whole country doing in the first place anyway?!

I love Malaysia to the fullest. I really do. that's why i write this. i'm so saddened and disappointed. Maybe I'll meet some freaking new friends (wow, meet new friends wei! shit lah, now i can delete my myspace and friendster accounts!) and maybe get a freaking six pacs (killer wei, i can save money instead of wasting time at fitness first).

After 50 years of independence,
1. is our young generation not patriotic?
2. is our young generation still racists at heart?
3. the educational system failed to build young generation who are, say, contributive?
4. is there are a serious lack of positive characters in our young generation's mind?
5. if we succeed to build oh-so-positive-characters in like, 85 000 minds, there'll be 400 000 left out there who are still negative minded?
6. the educational system still fail to produce caring and volunteeristic society?
7. why are there cases of racial fighting in the camps? oh sorry, i thought i heard unity.

You know, my hatred towards this bullshit is so thick. i'm not it's material. i hate it. A miracle would do. i'm fucking annoyed. seriously annoyed. one hell of a big thing, i see this.

but teenagers are craps, right? we don't have the right to speak. maybe some things has its importance and significance, myb i'll find some goddamn benefits in this freaking bullshit. myb some fralala chances will rose up. i don't know, don't get me wrong, it's just the anger. i'll cool down, maybe, but i'll find ways, though the whole thing is kinda unchangable unless you are dead.

if you find this thing sensitive and provocative, be intelligent (Malay: pandai) enough to guide me and not judge me. may the peace of god be upon you.

ending the lines. hope, lost.

Haunted Visit at the Museum!

Expect your haunted ride to be thrilling at first, then deccelerates to a mediocre anxiety. So-so.

If you ask me what is the most overrated event in Shah Alam right now, then the answer should be the Hantu Exhibition down at the State Museum. Before our eerie friends came to stay here for awhile until October 4th, the museum is not even close to happening. In spite all that, it has been always literally cool, because it is said the museum is, at times..really is haunted..so when you pay a visit there, temperatures are somewhat low and dampy. Now, for 3 months straight, the curators seem to be smiling all the way, seeing buses and long lines of people waiting to grab a piece of the haunted pie that is coming to town.

Luckily when we came the line was absolutely empty. Talking about haunted luck. It's totally OK to be scared or having funny feelings like, before you get on a scary roller-coaster ride or singing in front of everybody during Ceriathon. You'll lose the feeling in a couple of minutes anyway.

Initially the environment was no doubt thrilling. Your first encounter? A real hantu pocong, confined in a mirrored glass. If you're unlucky (like most of the visitors), you'll only smell the uncomfortable scent of kapur barus, kemenyan, a view of a wrapped corpse laid on a coffin and somewhat fake-looking graveyard replica..but if you're lucky (or unlucky, depends) well...you'll get a look of the pocong. Which is (should be) a scary experience. Not seeing the thing is heart-beating enough. Until I wrote this there are only 3 to 4 people who have actually seen it.

To be straight-forward, it is the only exhibit that will (may) be giving you (supposedly real) goosebumps. Dependable, but things started to look like that. After the you-may-see-it-or-not exhibit there's an array of goblins confined in a bottle, toyol, a head of a langsuir, jenglot etc. A mermaid is also on display. Other points of interest include a very large Al Quran written on leather, a goblin captured because he slept with a woman (note this, written on the explanation if you go there: "..captured because he sleeps with a woman.." alahaii..) and other mysterious things.

Two bomohs were appointed to 'take care of things' there. Expect a lot of kapur barus scents, kemenyan along with colok smells. Be aware not to look straight in the eyes of some exhibitions. It is advisable not to take the risk of touching some exhibitions. However, you can talk all the way of anything you want. It is best to not be too snobbish (like some pakciks in front of us) and..just stay cool!

Well..the whole things is..interesting but short. Short, as in it is relatively short. It somewhat kills our excitements. And many (too many) of the exhibited creatures and things didn't came along with complete explanations (there're names, though). Maybe they want to get a catch at the eerie and horror mood, but too much darkness is at some places is somewhat unnecessary. But kudos to the foundation and the museum for the effort. One hell of a effort, this one.

Overall, it's what many people say 'alah, takla takut sgt'. 3/5 for this one. However, coming during the night before Friday and during the moon is full is always a good idea if you want an extra special experience, of course.

sebut harga (kot)

this is for any 5 ste members who are reading the blog && for my future reference. Sooooo...for our senior page....the sidang redaksi said the price for one page is RM600. of course, because of our great ego and snobbishness, we want two pages in this year's edition of majalah sinar. so, hokay..our sifir darab tells us that two pages equals RM1200. Cheap, if everybody's a millionaire. But because each and everyone of us spends our money relentlessly and just eat and sleep all day, the number is no doubt, expensive.

My accountant (tak pasal²) liyana zakaria has made all her calculations, so RM 1200 divided by the sum of our students: 26 people.................. (tekan calculator cepat!) is 46.15384615.

should each and everyone of us pay RM46, it will add up to RM1196. the remaining RM4 will be, either korek from tabung class or anybody generously nak donate RM4 (eleh, sume kaye tapi kedekut), or rompak je la budak petang yg keje asek nk rusakkan class.

and..should everyone pay RM50, the sum will be...RM1300. Extra RM100. 100/26, 3.846153846. RM3.80x26=RM 98.80. yg baki20 sen tu bg budak petang jela buat beli chewing gum.

so..mcm tula! haha. prepare² la duit tu yeee. OH OH. kalau nk sponsor, ring me ok ok haha
