one after another,

haziq's little brother, nabil, was trying to attract our attention by showing off a 6-in-one ballgame he got as a birthday present from his uncle at his birthday party last saturday.

being fakefully compassionate, i tried to layan him a bit because haziq is one of the most ignorant brothers in the world.

but anyway i asked haziq,

"ko bg nabil hadiah ape ah mase bday die?"
"takde pape"
"takde pape? gile kejam"
"ade, aku bagi ciuman panas."

speaking of kissing,

we accidentally (well..) watched siti's akad nikah ceremony this morning. haziq's sister aqilah was watching (clearly she was bored), but left the tv before the akad nikah thing started. i'm not quite sure what's her motive by doing that. so where was i, er, accidentally, right?

so there was us, haziq, qayum, nabil and i, watching datuk k's lovely moustache touches siti's soft forehead as he kisses her awkwardly (in the forehead, of course, what..a french kiss in the national tv?!). then we watched wanita hari ini bcs we desperately were out of other things to do (kind of.) but people, relax, at least she's not marrying some bongkok tua guy you know. well... haha. slmt pengantin baru lah.

the princess conquered.

i came with no high excpectations what so ever, clearing my head from all the reviews i read and all the grapevines i heard about the show. but in the end, sorry, i just found myself witnessing a serious blockbuster perfection.

i gave a spontaneous standing ovation and a thundering applause. hell, everybody did. why don't they when they were served with a superb performance that comes with great music together with an outstanding storyline?

it's a great legendary love story celebrated, recounted, fabled & told throughout the ages. puteri gunung ledang the musical is one hell of a phenomenon that everyone, shouldn't be missing.

the music, led by roslan aziz, is capturing and mesmerising. tiara jacquelina as the gusti putri (of course) and stephen rahman hughes playing hang tuah did a very marvellous acting as well as singing, along with the great performances by adlin aman ramlie as the sultan, ac mizal as gusti adipati and the rest of the casts.

the music is refreshing, i tell you. the song i like personally, is the song when the sultan celebrates the joy he felt after he sent hang tuah to lead a delegation to gunung ledang, to ask gusti putri for her hand in marriage. that, is one hell of a funky and spicy song that fits very well in a show like this. also, the songs played during the setting is in melaka, well, is very entertaining too. the music combines many elements, from traditional to modern, even a bit of rock and pop, which equals to divine entertainment. full mark for the music team.

the props and the costumes were splendid. the lighting, oh hell, this is istana budaya anyway. so it was anything world class and mesmerising and these all did a really, really great job in setting the mood. oh say no more.

you've heard it, everybody who went and watched talks about it. the second time it is held, pglm really did a brilliant performance, not to say awe-inspiring. it's an achievement. sadly tomorrow it will set down its last show, before god-knows when it'll ever be performed again.


well, until the next time it'll arrive in town, this is one show that'll accelerate you to a breathless performing arts experience, taking you to a magical journey to the past and celebrate romance and love in a very extraordinary way. a perfect ten over ten. kudos to the team!

almost forgot, i met sha and aqila there. bought a cd containing some remixes from the musical, but it's not a complete soundtrack. I WANT the complete soundtrack! ayah: "reaaallyy worth the ringgit spent." hehe.

You know I like you if: i enjoy being in your company. you can really see it. 19. Take my advice: life is short so there's so little time to get upset abt little things (ngeh not original). respect others and they'll respect you back (not original too). and do not buy those stupid meltz thingy down at the kfc. they're a big waste of money and a damage to your tastebuds. 20. My ideal breakfast is: mom's omelette, mom's nasi goreng, mom's spaghetti, mom's nasi lemak, mom's macaroni, mom's teh tarik, mom's milo, roti bakar with kuih and all. the most ideal of things are always the simplest for me. :) 21. If you visit the place I grew up: you'll find some OKU students, renting the place down at section 19. they're a bunch of kind and corteous people, really. unlike some normal people who rent our apartment down at bukit jelutong. things like this confuses me, sometimes. 22. Soon I plan on visiting: i don't know. somewhere for a short excursion? 23. If you spend the night at my house: we'll have breakfast facing the lawns, or simply d.e (ngeh boring) 24. The world could do without: greed & g-strings. 25. The most recent thing I bought myself is: roti canai. 26. My favorite brunette(s) is(are): angelina jolie is a brunette, rite? 27. SPM will kick off on Nov 14th for vocational students, with papers like Asuhan Kanak2, Hortikultur, teknologi mesin and others. For many it'll begin on Nov 20, with BM Paper 1 as the first paper. Accountancy students will begin on Nov 16, Bio students will end their SPM on Dec 4th with Bio 3 as their last paper, and LK students will be last ones to finish with LK being the sole paper on Dec 8th.

Second week is a disaster if you ask me. Basically the timetable is packed; really, really packed. No wide gaps at all between the papers that would freak you out. For LK students, we'll be like having a wide gap of one week between chemistry on Nov 30 and LK on Dec 8, which i see as both funny and frustrating. Or maybe we would as hell be more prepared for LK as ever.
