festive notes.

"festivities are about doing a little something extra for someone."

So it's the day after the night of Tujuh Likur. didn't lit up any pelita yesterday, sedih. Raya is so drawing near! and tomorrow is Deepavali! i can't imagine the flux of vehicles on the roads right now. the country is so under the spell of the festive season.

well, i don't hv anything good la to post to go along w/ the festive air, really. i'm like either out of ideas or just plain fat lazy. ok, drop that 'fat' thing haha. of course waiting for raya to come is much much for exciting and exhilarating during last year than to this year. duh. last year's raya is like one of the most perfect and best raya la. it's like the sweetest thing, hehe. met up, enjoy, gather, hv fun and even get to know new faces. it's cool.

this year? heh not sure. but really, only a total freak would do physics questions on the eve of raya while everyone is playing mercun and bunga api and having fun and all that stuff. not sure abt my raya plannings yet, i think we'll be spending malam & pagi raya here in shah alam like recent years, then pj at wan & atuk's, after our annual photoshoot here, then on the second raya we'll off to ipoh to meet opah (don't they rhyme? ipoh and opah. i always make fun of that once)

i'm officially craving for wan's laksa and opah's nasi dagang, serious. yesterday at the surau najmi took the last mangkuk of laksa of the moreh, making me kempunan for sure. for the morning of raya, the faces that i'm sure that i'll meet up are, as always every year, najmi, mad, haziq and imanul. ahah. and shafiqal. maybe. the faces whose kampung is in kl, klang, pj - places that are not even close to the term kampung.

completed my qur'an recital last night. school break starts today! at first i regret coming to school yesterday (test add math, yuck) but in the end i like it - got the chance to wish everybody selamat hari raya, especially teachers la. then i met up chakra at the bilik guru so we practically shouted happy deepavali to him. i invited imanul and him to come over at my house for awhile, and had a very long chitchat as usual. i insist on coming over to his house to have a taste of authentic vadei and muruku! haha.

done my raya shopping at klcc last tuesday (at last) xp

nothing more to babble, i guess. i'll write up some more, but for the mean time,

wishing my Hindu friends and all who celebrate, a very Happy Deepavali especially chakra, achi² sri tanjong bookstore, mr param and others! have an illuminating festival of lights!
