Four Days Til Submission

Damn, what a course for perfectionists!

Four days. That is, if there's no extensions. Hell, can we really get one?

More than twenty one drawings equivalent of the size of more than twenty one drafting table. Some reached multiple sizes of A0. 1:20 drawings scaled to perfection. 1:10 details. Multiple sketches. Accurate perspectives. Detailed elevations, sections and plans. With that, a 1:20 model. A retreat, less than 80 square metes. Each and every one of the above is to be explicitly made manually.

Four days left.

That, and having to sharpen your pencils to the extend of having to use a sandpaper, to get a perfect cylinderical shape for your graphite. The very correct thickness with the correct pen points. Where the sun rises at your building, and when the sun sets, where the rain will fall and where the wind will flow. What will happen to your building at 6AM. 12PM. 4PM. 8PM. 11PM. What do your client wants. Does your spaces circulate well. Are your ideas and concept channeled correctly. These, and Land Survey tests. History of Architecture assignments. Architectural Science presentations. Structures revisions. Building Construction tasks.

And Rahman's bad choice of music.

At times like these, I miss the days where B5, A4, A3, A2, A1, A0, butter paper, cartridge paper, layout paper, tracing paper, illustration paper etc. were known as simply as, well, a paper.

Manila card, anyone?

[Update: I'm feeling like exaggerating, but still it's 8 only AO, I think.]
