Suddenly, America Wakes Up

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." - Martin Luther King Jr. August 28, 1963

I'm quite amazed. The majority of Americans -- the world superpower whom our society loves to shun as 'evil' -- has astonished the globe by voting across racial and ideological lines for hopes of a better future.

What now, Malaysians? Still insisting on playing by the racial cards?

racism has not actually died even in the land of the free..
i think most americans are being pragmatic went voting obama into the big seat because of the state of the economy.. republicans are still preaching for free markets when it is obvious that the unregulated practices in the economy is what that has gotten them into this mess in the first place
it's interesting to note that 97% of blacks voted for obama.. a good potential that obama is, some people just cannot see beyond racial lines.
I really don't see a non-Malay PM in the near future though..
